There are several ways to open SysMan Applications:
Full Installation Setup, the installation GUI, is invoked by shutting down the system to console mode and booting from the distribution media.
To help you prepare the system for general use, the SysMan Setup is displayed automatically after you perform an installation and log in for the first time as root.
The SysMan Menu
To start the SysMan Menu from a CDE desktop:
Choose the SysMan Menu icon from the SysMan Applications
subpanel.
To start the SysMan Menu from a command prompt, enter:sysman
To start the SysMan Menu from the SysMan Station, select the host icon in a view window and then choose SysMan_Menu from the Tools menu.
The SysMan Station
To start the SysMan Station from a CDE desktop as root:
Choose the SysMan Station icon from the CDE front-panel or
the SysMan Applications subpanel.
To start the SysMan Station from a CDE desktop as a non root user:
Choose the SysMan Station icon from the SysMan Applications
subpanel.
To start the SysMan Station from a command prompt, enter:/usr/sbin/sysman -station

Use the following procedure to start a SysMan application:
Click on the SysMan Applications subpanel on the
CDE front panel.
Click on one of the following application group icons:
Double click on the application icon for the application that you want.
