1.5    Adding an Object to a Group

After a group has been created, you must expand it to add an object.

NOTE
A group cannot contain another group.

To add a new object to an existing group in a View window:

1. Do one of the following to expand the group:

   • Select the group, then choose Expand from the Action menu.

   • Select the group, click and hold the right mouse button, and select Expand from the Object Pop-up menu.

2. Do one of the following to select the objects for the group making sure that you select the original members of the group as well as the members to be added:

   • Select the first object, then press and hold Ctrl and click the left mouse button to select the other objects to be included in the group, including the new object.

   • Click and hold the left mouse button in a blank area of the view, drag the mouse to draw a box around the objects you want to select, then release the mouse button.

3. Choose Group from the Action menu. The Group dialog box is displayed.

4. Enter the new group name or use the default supplied by SysMan Station.

5. Select OK.
