2.16    Grouping Values Dialog Box

Use the Grouping Values dialog box to set the minimum automatic group size and the number of groups that will be created when a group is expanded.

You can access the Grouping Values dialog box by selecting Grouping Values...from the Action menu.

NOTE
Changes to the views will not take place immediately after setting the grouping values. The next time you invoke SysMan Station or open a new view, the changes will take place.

DESCRIPTION

Minimum group size:

The minimum number of objects that automatically will be grouped. For example, if there are eight disk drives on the same adapter, and the Minimum group size is four, SysMan Station will place the drives into one group with eight drives in the group and assign the group the default name.
Data Type: Integer
Valid Values: Any integer between 2 and 100
Default: 8

Number of groups to expand a group into:

Specifies the number of smaller groups that a group will be split into when you select Expand.
Data Type: Integer
Valid Values: Any integer between 2 and 100
Default: 8

BUTTON DESCRIPTION
OK

Saves the grouping values and closes the dialog box.

Apply

Saves the grouping values without closing the dialog box.

Cancel

Closes the dialog box without saving the grouping values.

Help

Displays help for the dialog box.
