1.1.1    Running SysMan Station on a Tru64 UNIX Workstation

To run SysMan Station on a Tru64 UNIX workstation, do one of the following:

• To start the SysMan Station from a CDE desktop as root, select the SysMan Station icon from the CDE front panel or the SysMan Applications subpanel.
  

• To start the SysMan Station from a CDE desktop as a nonroot user:

  1. Select the Application Manager icon on the CDE front panel.
     

  2. Select the System_Admin application group icon.
     

  3. Select the SysMan Station icon.
     

• To start the SysMan Station from a command prompt:

  • Set the DISPLAY so that SysMan Station displays on your screen. See for more information.

  • Enter /usr/sbin/sysman -station at the command prompt.
