2.21    Print Dialog Box

Use the Print dialog box to print a view of an object's properties.

You can access the Print dialog box by selecting Print... from the File menu.

FIELD

DESCRIPTION

Print:

Displays the view or object to be printed.

Copies

Lets you select the number of copies.
Default: 1

Print to:

Specifies the printer or file name.
Options: Printer/File
Default: Printer

Printer

A valid printer name.

File

A valid file name.

Banner Page Title:

Specifies a title for the banner page of the output.
Default: Name of current view

Print Command Options:

Let's you specify additional options to the print command. For more information, see the lp(1) reference page.

Paper Size:

Specifies the paper size.
Format: Radio buttons
Options: Letter/Executive/Legal/A4
Default: Letter

Orientation:

Specifies the paper orientation.
Format: Radio buttons
Options: Portrait/Landscape
Default: Portrait

BUTTON

DESCRIPTION

Print

Prints the view and closes the dialog box.

Cancel

Closes the dialog box without printing.
