Finding an object or group is useful if there are many objects in the View window or if the object is hidden or contained in a group. Finding an object will do the following:
If the object is already displayed, it will be highlighted.
If the object is hidden; it will be displayed, any of its parents that are hidden will be displayed, and the object will be highlighted.
If the object is part of a group, the object will be separated from the group and the object will be highlighted.
If the object is not visible on the screen, the window will scroll to display the object and highlight the object.
To find an object:
Choose Find Item... from the Action menu. The Find Item dialog box is displayed.
Enter the object name in the text box.
The exact name
of the object must be entered.
The search is
case sensitive
and
wildcards
cannot be used.
Select OK.
