3.10    Support and Services

The Support and Services branch of the SysMan Menu lets you perform tasks to facilitate receiving technical support and services, such as:

Create escalation report

Saves all the crash-data files on the system and the specified vmzcore and mvunix core files to tar files for use in reporting problems to technical support.

Create configuration report

Gathers the specified information and writes the system configuration (software and hardware) of the running system to an output file. The output file is coded in HTML and can be viewed and printed with a web browser. The Create configuration report task also performs basic analysis of operating system parameters and warns if problems are detected.
