NAME
       brk  -  Changes the amount of space allocated for the calling process's
       data segment

DIFFERENCES
       The brk() function can fail with ENOMEM if  the	requested  size	 would
       collide with an attached shared memory segment. The brk() function does
       not fail with EAGAIN, which is a temporary condition.
