The Digital Porting Assistant is a Motif-based tool to help you
port C, C++, and FORTRAN source code from other UNIX systems and
proprietary platforms including OpenVMS.  The Porting Assistant:
	- uncovers 32-bit dependencies
	- checks your makefile commands and options
	- helps find functions that your application needs
	- helps develop 64-bit UNIX specific code segments
	- provides lots of useful information on porting your application

The Porting Assistant is licensed and provided to you with
the UNIX Developers' Toolkit but requires separate installation.

To Install the Porting Assistant:
	Install Subset PRT (and its dependencies) from your 
	UNIX software media.
