1.16    Saving a View

You can create a custom view that displays the objects you need to see, and groups or hides objects that you do not need to see. See Creating a Custom View. After a view is created, you can save the view for future use. The view will be available from the View window and will be available when you choose New View Window or Switch View from the View menu.

To save the current view as a custom view:

1. Choose Save View as... from the View menu. The Save View dialog box is displayed.

2. Enter a view name for the view.

3. Select an icon for the view from the View Icon list.

4. Select OK.
