3.7    Security

The Security branch of SysMan lets you configure your system to provide added security.

Configure Division of Privileges (DOP)

Configures the privilege database by adding privileges, deleting privileges, and assigning users and groups to a privilege. A privilege allows a user or group to execute a command without knowing the root password.

For additional information, see the following:

Manage DOP Actions

Edits the actions, or administrative tasks, assigned to a privilege. A privilege allows users or groups to execute a set of actions that usually would be reserved for root.

For additional information, see Managing DOP Actions Online Help.

Audit Configuration

Establishes the audit environment on your system.

For additional information, see the auditconfig(8) reference page

Security Configuration

Configure a system either for security auditing, enhanced login, or any combination of those features.
