View hardware hierarchy

Displays the current hardware component hierarchy in the hardware management subsystem.

For additional information, see the hwmgr(8) reference page.

View cluster

Displays the current cluster hierarchy and the hardware component hierarchy of each cluster member. This option is only available on a cluster.

For additional information, see the hwmgr(8) reference page.

View device information

Displays the device hardware ID, device name, model and location.

For additional information, see the hwmgr(8) reference page.

Manage CPUs

Enables the system administrator to add or remove a CPU on certain platforms without having to shut down the entire system.

You can take the CPU off line and then turn the power off to replace the CPU. Other CPUs and devices in the system remain on line and functional.

The Manage CPUs application also can be used to obtain the ID, Status, and duration since a CPU has been in a particular state.

For additional information, see Manage CPUs.
