To authorize access to the display on your system using Host Manager, do the following:
Start Host Manager on your system.
See the online documentation for for instructions on starting Host Manager.
Check whether or not the X Display Access Control check button is set.
If the check button is set, make sure that the Host in X Access List option for the remote system is set.
If the X Display Access Control check button is not set, access to your local display is enabled for all systems.
To authorize access to the display on your system from the command
line, use the
xhost
command.
For example, if the host
name of the remote machine is
host1, enter
the following:
xhost +host1
