New Reno Hospital is one of the closest things to quality care you can get in New Reno, apart from Dr. Raevyn Delphine's clinics. It is the primary place to go if something ails you. Just don't expect the same quality you get in NCR.

Many stories high, this building has enough rooms and barely enough staff to keep up with the various shootings, stabbings, vehicle accidents, and illnesses cropping up in Reno during peacetime or wartime. The facilities are far cleaner than outside. This doesn't mean they'll always be sterile; that depends on just how much cash you have. There is no government to fund these doctors, afterall.

It is run by a board of doctors, but generally headed up by Dr. Simon Remeaux, a charming and competent doctor with salt and pepper hair and a gentleman's southern accent. A brilliant man with a heart of gold, a devotion to helping New Reno, and a penchant for putting human life above all else, he has served as Chief Surgeon, Chief of Medicine, private physician, specialist, and even diplomat for New Reno to NCR's senatorial meetings. Dr. Remeaux is the leading expert in cybertechnology and neuroscience in the known world, even by Brotherhood of Steel or Shi standards. He's made revolutionary advances in both fields as far as improvements in existing biological cybertechnology, sensitivity and "humanness" of cyberlimbs, decreasing existing side-effects of the bio/cyber interface, transmission efficiency improvements, biotechnology that mimics cybertechnology, and a variety of other aspects of the field. He could have worked literally anywhere in the world, headed any hospital in any known city, and even may have been able to join the Brotherhood by invitation... but has decided to remain in New Reno to do some good.

If you're lucky, you can get an appointment with Dr. Remeaux... and if you're not, there's a decent chance you'll get an appointment with one of the hospital's other doctors, Dr. Wellman. He comes highly recommended if all you care about is getting better... a bedside manner, however, is another thing altogether. Expect to get called at least four different girls' names (mainly if you're a guy), and expect no sympathy for your conditions. He'll go off on a five minute rant that's far more witty than you could hope to be in your whole life, leave you feeling as inadequate as you can next to this narcissistic medic... but in the end, he's one of the best doctors you can get, and he always puts his patients first.
