The New California Republic has the strongest military in the continent. Possibly the entire world (nobody's really sure).

The founding of the NCR Military was given to the families who had strong military presence through each generation. Many of thse families had men who were once Generals, Colonels, Majors, and high ranking Sergeants in the U.S. Army. A few were still alive. These men put into the NCR military what was lost from America. Many of the divisions are the same. Many of the soldier's traditions are the same. Many ranks are the same. Today, the NCR Military deploys often, sometimes to take down various infestations of 'beasties', sometimes to handle large groups of raiders, sometimes to run protection for important caravans. The NCR military has strong ties with the Brotherhood of Steel, therefore is almost -always- better equiped than any foe it ever encounters.

The NCR Military is commanded by a joint-staff board. They consist of President Tandi, The NCR Department of War, and Supreme Commanding General Aiden Eisenhower.
