The Exile Pub. Now known as the hang-out place for some of the city's biggest legends.
The Exile Pub is owned by a group known, not surprisingly, as the Exiles. A group of ex-Brotherhood of Steel folks that decided to open up a simple bar in Reno. Located in Commercial Row, it offers a non-Family-owned establishment for people to come to, grab a cold drink, and watch the latest Points game on the television.
When you step in, the feeling of the place is comfortable. Not cozy and warm, but you don't have glaring eyes from all directions. The establishment is well-lit, with absolutely no dark corners and very little area to hide without looking like the world's biggest tool. Live piano music drifts through the various tables in the middle of the establishment or the booths along the right- or left-hand walls. Pool balls clack together in the nearer right-hand corner at a small handful of pool tables. The bar is straight back and has all the beverages you'd like, along with a decent selection of bar food... brahmin burgers, bar fries, the works.
Bill, the ex-NCRM Ranger, is the resident bartender. He's quick with your order, but doesn't take too kindly to being bossed around. Ordo is the owner, a middle-aged and slightly balding man with some solid muscle and a look that says you shouldn't cross him in his own bar... or, really, anywhere else. Especially with those rumors of a fully-stocked Brotherhood-grade armory in the back... Matt, the large-framed bouncer, sits idly by most often near the door. If anyone starts any trouble in the bar, though, he has the will and means to throw all involved parties out into the street, no negotiation. And Sam, the resident pianist, tickles the ivories with his twenty fingers and skilled piano talent... that's right, he's the four-armed mutant piano player. And you couldn't ask for better talent or range, anything from pre-War tunes like "Hey, Jude" to upbeat honky-tonk jingles, all the way through classical pieces that only a man with four hands could produce.
Whatever your affiliation, Exile is the neutral meeting ground for music, food, drink, and all around kicking back after a long day of killing.
