VMS Help DECTPU, TPU$FILE_SEARCH  *Conan The Librarian (sorry for the slow response - running on an old VAX)

    The TPU$FILE_SEARCH routine provides a simplified interface to
    the $SEARCH system service. DECTPU call this routine when TPU
    code executes the FILE_SEARCH built-in procedure.
