    This directory, known by the logical name SYS$ERRORLOG, is
    reserved for the error log file (ERRLOG.SYS).

     Command procedure to copy machine state error snapshot files
     from the console RL02 to the SYS$ERRORLOG directory when a
     VAX 8600 processor notifies OpenVMS that an error snapshot
     is available
