VMS Help LIBRARY, /SELECTIVE_SEARCH  *Conan The Librarian (sorry for the slow response - running on an old VAX)

    Defines the input modules being inserted into a library as
    candidates for selective searches by the linker.

    Format

      /SELECTIVE_SEARCH

1 - Example

  $ LIBRARY/SELECTIVE_SEARCH/INSERT MATHLIB TRIG

      This LIBRARY command inserts the modules in TRIG.OBJ into the
      library MATHLIB.OLB. The inserted modules are selectively
      searched when MATHLIB.OLB is specified as an input file to
      the linker.
