VMS Help V73 Features, User Features, MIME Utility  *Conan The Librarian (sorry for the slow response - running on an old VAX)

    The following new commands and qualifiers have been added to the
    Multipurpose Internet Mail Extension (MIME) utility:

    Command        Description

    ADD/BINARY     Sets the Content-Type to application/octet-stream
                   and Content-Transfer-Encoding to Base64. This
                   format can be used to represent an arbitrary
                   binary data stream.
    SHOW option    Displays information about the MIME environment.
                   Possible options are CONTENT_TYPE, FILE_TYPES, and
                   VERSION.
