 Message        Extension:  A '$' was encountered in an identifier.

 Description    Accepting a "$" character in an identifier is an
                extension of Compaq C/C++.  The program might not
                compile with other C/C++ compilers.

 User Action    Be aware of this if you wish to port the program.
