       /LOCAL
       /[NO]LOCAL

    Optional. Default: /NOLOCAL.

    If you either omit this qualifier or specify /NOLOCAL, the
    software checks the hosts database. If a lookup fails, it also
    checks the BIND resolver.

    Limits name-to-address lookups to the local hosts database.
