    1.SYSMAN> PARAMETERS WRITE SYS$SYSTEM:SPECIAL

      This command creates a new parameter specification file.

    2.SYSMAN> PARAMETERS WRITE CURRENT

      This command modifies the current system parameter file on disk
      (SYS$SYSTEM:ALPHAVMSSYS.PAR).
