Library /sys$common/syshlp/net$mgmt_help.hlb actions, Rename, Node  *Conan The Librarian (sorry for the slow response - running on an old VAX)

     Changes the node's name within the node and does not affect
     the name server directly. It uses the new name and an immediate
     "keep me here" transaction with the name servers which then update
     themselves based on the node's new name.

     The node's new fullname is a required argument.

     Pressing the CONTINUE button will cause the node to be renamed.
     Pressing the CANCEL button will dismiss the window with no rename
     action taken.
