Library /sys$common/syshlp/ncphelp.hlb CLEAR, LINE, SERVICE TIMER  *Conan The Librarian (sorry for the slow response - running on an old VAX)

 Resets SERVICE TIMER to its default value in the volatile database, or
 removes the SERVICE TIMER value from the permanent database.
