Library /sys$common/syshlp/nclhelp.hlb rename, node  *Conan The Librarian (sorry for the slow response - running on an old VAX)

     Changes the node's name within the node and does not affect
     the name server directly. It uses the new name and an immediate
     "keep me here" transaction with the name servers
     which then update themselves based on the node's new name.

     rename  [node node-id] new name full-name

     Example:

     rename new name DEC:.SCH.LAMCHP
