SET_MINIMUM_WINDOW_LENGTH

*Conan The Librarian (sorry for the slow response - running on an old VAX)

Syntax: SET MINIMUM WINDOW LENGTH number

Specifies the minimum length of the windows that LSE automatically
  creates.

This command specifies a lower bound on the size of the windows that
LSE automatically creates. When you map a window to a buffer, LSE
creates a new window if the window is not shorter than the parameter
value n. LSE uses the this command and the SET MAXIMUM WINDOWS
setting to determine whether to add a window to the screen or to
reuse an existing window. LSE checks both settings and creates a new
window only if both conditions are met.
