CLOSE_BUFFER

*Conan The Librarian (sorry for the slow response - running on an old VAX)

  Syntax: CLOSE BUFFER buffer_name

  Writes and deletes a buffer.

If the specified buffer is writable and has been modified, LSE writes
it to its associated file, and then deletes the buffer. If a file is
not associated with the buffer, LSE prompts you for a file name. If
no buffer is specified, the current buffer is used.
