    The LMCP utility creates and manages the transaction logs used by
    DECdtm services.

                                 CAUTION

          Some of the LMCP commands can corrupt data.  See the
          OpenVMS System Manager's Manual for why you might want
          to use the LMCP utility, and how to use it safely.
