/sys$common/syshlp/helplib.hlb System Services, $RMSRUNDWN  *Conan The Librarian (sorry for the slow response - running on an old VAX)

    Closes all files opened by OpenVMS RMS for the image or process
    and halts I/O activity. This routine performs a $CLOSE service
    for each file opened for processing.
