/sys$common/syshlp/helplib.hlb SET, SECURITY, Parameter *Conan The Librarian (sorry for the slow response - running on an old VAX) |
object-name Specifies the name of an object, such as a file or device, whose security profile is to be modified. An object is identified by an object name and a class name. The default class name is FILE. An object name of the FILE class (explicitly or implicitly specified) can include an asterisk (*) or a percent sign (%) wildcard character, but wildcard characters are not allowed in any class other than FILE. SET SECURITY does not operate on remote files and devices, alias directory entries, or directory names in UIC format (for example, [14,5]).
