       /ESCAPE_CHARACTER=character

    Optional. Default: ~ (tilde).

    New RLOGIN escape character. This character lets you exit the
    RLOGIN process without typing the remote host's typical logout
    sequence, for example, LOGOUT or Ctrl/D.

    Typing the escape character and a period (.) breaks the
    connection with the remote host, for example:

    remote> ~. (characters not echoed)

    %RSH-S-LCLCLOSED, Local connection closed
