Library /sys$common/syshlp/edthelp.hlb DEFINE, KEY, STRING, GOLD  *Conan The Librarian (sorry for the slow response - running on an old VAX)

 If you define a key as 'GOLD' the key will perform the GOLD keypad
 function.  GOLD is not a nokeypad command.  Do not put a period at the
 end of the definition.
