Library /sys$common/syshlp/edthelp.hlb CHANGE, SUBCOMMANDS, APPEND  *Conan The Librarian (sorry for the slow response - running on an old VAX)

 The APPEND command works in the same way as the CUT command (see CUT)
 except that it adds the new text to the end of the alternate buffer
 instead of replacing its contents.

 Format: [+|-][count]APPEND[+|-][count][+|-]entity[=buffer]
