  A file that contains the expected output of a test.

  Digital Test Manager automatically creates a benchmark
  file when you record an interactive terminal or
  DECwindows test.

  You create a benchmark file for a noninteractive test
  by pulling down the Testing menu and choosing the
  Review menu item and the Update submenu item during
  a Review session.
