  The LOCATE STRING statement accepts a user's string input.   The  user's
  string  is  concatenated  to  the initial string supplied in the INITIAL
  clause.

  Example

  OPTION TYPE = EXPLICIT
  DECLARE STRING init_string, user_string
  init_string = "YES"
  LOCATE STRING , INITIAL init_string : user_string
