  The COMPILE command converts a BASIC source program to an object  module
  and  writes the file to disk.  The object module has a default file type
  of OBJ.  Type HELP QUALIFIER  for  information  about  qualifiers.   The
  file-spec can precede or follow the qualifier.

  Example

  COMPILE TEST/LIS/OBJ/DOUBLE

      COMPILE [ file-spec ] [ /qualifier ]...
