User Input Methods

  Normally, you use the system's default input method server.

  Instead of using the default, you can use your own input
  method server if it is installed on your system.

  If you want applications to use your own input method
  server, click on Other in the Input Method dialog box and
  enter the name of your input method server in the text field.

  The name of the input method is governed by the input
  method server.  The name should be the same as the setting
  of the XMODIFIERS environment variable.  Please consult
  the input method documentation for details.
