Selecting Images
Paint's Edit menu items let you easily rearrange images you
select in the drawing window.
You can delete selected images entirely, move them to
another part of the window, or copy them.
Paint allows you to size selected images, reducing them or
enlarging them as you wish. Paint can also crop a picture,
retaining one section of the canvas while discarding the rest.
To select an image, use one of Paint's selection tools: the Box
or the Scissors.
To use the Box, click on the Box and then position the pointer
in one corner of the area you want to select. Press MB1 and
drag over the desired image. Release MB1.
To use the Scissors, click on the Scissors and then position the
pointer near the object you want to select. Press MB1 and
drag the pointer around the boundary of the desired object
until you reach the starting point. Release MB1.
To select the entire visible portion of the canvas, choose Select
All from the Edit menu.
