Starting the Editor by Direct Invocation

  If the new editor you are adding to your list of available
  editors is a DECwindows application supporting Application
  Control Architecture (ACA), such as DECwrite or DECpaint,
  select Direct Invocation as the method for invoking the editor.


  If you choose Direct Invocation, the command line in the
  Editor Command entry box should contain the file name of
  the editor image, such as SYS$SYSTEM:DECWRITE, rather

  than a DCL command line.
