Settings Dialog Box

  You can specify the following defaults for DECsound sessions:

  *   Play Settings

      The Play Settings area of the Settings dialog box contains
      toggle buttons that allow you to play back recordings
      through the built-in speaker on the workstation or
      through headphones, which you connect to the headphone
      jack on the workstation.  The Play Settings area also
      contains a slider that allows you to control the volume at
      which DECsound plays recordings.

  *   Record Settings
      The Record Settings area of the Settings dialog box
      contains sliders that allow you to specify the maximum
      length of a DECsound recording.  This prevents long
      recordings being initiated by accidentally clicking on
      the Record   button.  The Record Settings area also has
      a slider that allows you to control the input level for
      recordings.
