NAME
xdr - library routines for external data representation
DESCRIPTION
XDR routines allow C programmers to describe arbitrary data structures
in a machine-independent fashion. Data for remote procedure calls are
transmitted using these routines.
The following table lists each of the XDR routines that are available
in the SCL RPC library, and the manual page where the function is
listed:

SCL IMPLEMENTATION NOTES
The XDR functions inside the SCL RPC library have been ported from
Solaris code placed in the public domain by Sun.
