NAME
       thr_self - Returns the identifier of the calling thread.

LIBRARY
       SCL Threads Library (libthread.so)

SYNOPSIS
       #include <thread.h>

       thread_t thr_self( void );

PARAMETERS
       None.

DESCRIPTION
       This routine returns the calling thread's own thread identifier.

SCL IMPLEMENTATION NOTES
       thr_self(3scl) is implemented by calling pthread_self(3).

       Note  that the thread_t type on Tru64 UNIX is a 64-bit address, whereas
       on Solaris it is a 32-bit integer.

RETURN VALUES
       This routine always returns the calling thread's own identifier.

ERRORS
       None.
