NAME
re - Allied Telesis RE2000/AT-1700 series Ethernet adapter

SYNOPSIS
     re0 at isa? port 0x280

DESCRIPTION
The re interface provides access to a 10 Mb/s Ethernet network. It sup-
ports the Allied Telesis RE2000/AT-1700 series Ethernet adapters.	It us-
es a block of 32 i/o ports in the range 0x240 through 0x380. The block
must be aligned on a 32 port boundary. The hardware interrupt level is
read from the card or specified in the config file entry.

Each of the host's network addresses is specified at boot time with an
SIOCSIFADDR ioctl. The re interface employs the address resolution pro-
tocol described in arp(4) to dynamically map between Internet and Ether-
net addresses on the local network.

MEDIA SELECTION
On cards that support more than one media, selection is performed manual-
     ly by on-board jumpers.
