NAME
       rdistd - Remote file distribution server program

SYNOPSIS
       /usr/bin/rdistd -S  [-D]

       /usr/bin/rdistd -V

OPTIONS
       Enable  debugging messages. Messages are logged using syslog(3).	 Print
       version information and exit.

DESCRIPTION
       The rdistd daemon is the server program for the nrdist command.	It  is
       normally run by nrdist using rsh(1).

       The  -S	argument  must	be  specified.	The option is required so that
       rdistd is not accidentally started since it normally resides  somewhere
       in a normal user's $PATH.
