STANDARDS
     There have been various attempts to standardize the set of binary pre‐
     fixes.  Organizations such as International Electrotechnical Commission
     (IEC) have proposed new prefixes such as “kibi”, “mebi”, “gibi”, and
     “yobi”, but the adoption has been slow at best.
