NAME
     login_skey - provide S/Key authentication

SYNOPSIS
     login_skey [-s service] user [class]

DESCRIPTION
     The login_skey program is typically called from login(8) or ftpd(8).  The
     service argument determines what protocol is used with the program re-
     questing authentication.  Currently only the ftp and login protocol are
     supported.	 See login_passwd(8) for a description of the protocols.

     login_skey will look up user in the the file /etc/skeykeys and the pass-
     word file.	 login_skey will issue a challenge, and if the user is able to
     correctly respond (by using an S/Key calculator) and they have a valid
     account login_skey will authenticate the user.  The class argument is un-
     used.
