libgtkmm-2.4, libatkmm-1.6, libgdkmm-2.4, libpangomm-1.4 - C++ inter‐
faces for ATK, GDK, GTK+, and Pango
DESCRIPTION
libatkmm, libgdkmm, libgtkmm and libpangomm provide official C++
interfaces for the ATK, GDK, GTK+ and Pango libraries, respectively.
Highlights include typesafe callbacks and a comprehensive set of wid‐
gets that are easily extensible via inheritance.
These libraries follow the official GNOME Platform Bindings release
schedule. This guarantees API/ABI-stability and new releases on a pre‐
dictable schedule, delivering C++ API for the underlying APIs as soon
as possible.
Please note that these C++ interfaces are built with the Sun Studio C++
Compiler and compiled with the -compat=5 C++ compiler option, so ver‐
sion 5 (Standard Mode) of the C++ ABI standard is used.
