SYNOPSIS

int iconv_close(iconv_t cd);
DESCRIPTION
The iconv_close() function deallocates the conversion descriptor cd and
all other associated resources allocated by the iconv_open(3C) func‐
tion.
If a file descriptor is used to implement the type iconv_t, that file
descriptor will be closed.
For examples using the iconv_close() function, see iconv(3C).
RETURN VALUES
Upon successful completion, iconv_close() returns 0; otherwise, it
returns −1 and sets errno to indicate the error.
ERRORS
The iconv_close() function may fail if:
EBADF
The conversion descriptor is invalid.
