gettimeofday, settimeofday, ftime - Gets and sets date and time

BSD COMPATIBILITY
The Digital UNIX system provides the libbsd.a library to allow you to
use library functions that are compatible with BSD library functions.
To use the BSD functions, your program needs to be compiled with -D_BSD
       and the -lbsd options.

The libbsd.a library will allow your application to continue to use the
gettimeofday(),	settimeofday()	and ftime() functions, which are not
otherwise provided on Digital UNIX systems. These functions have been
made obsolete by the getclock() and the setclock() function.
